Experience Web Designer, Programmer, Consultant, Admin - Paradise Dreams TT
10/2009-5/2010

I created this site using mostly CSS, PHP, Flash and some light JS.
Web Designer, Programmer, Consultant, Admin - Slighter Golf
3/2005-6/2010

I built and have maintained the Slighter Golf Company website since 2005. During this time I have been programming in ASP VB, PHP, CSS, some light JavaScript, occasional Flex, MySQL database management, web host administration, consulting, recommendations on software and server configuration, DNS management, organization, restructuring, and much more. I also built a few back-end applications to enhance the work experience for the company management including an innovative custom quote system which, at the time, there was nothing similar available anywhere, and an administration panel which makes it extremely easy for company management to add items or update prices. I have been responsible for every aspect of the site and have had experience with customer support. I have transferred the language of the entire website from HTML to ASP, and then from ASP to PHP and across several servers over the years as times have changed in the web world. I’ve also optimized the site for search engine placement and as a result it is in the #1-3 spot in many top search engines for general queries such as “custom putter”. During my time working with Slighter I've learned the basics of many different programming languages and have been doing my best to keep up with the times. Slighter Golf's business has increased substantially as a direct result of the website's design and structure.
Web Designer, Programmer – Realm of Fantasy
2003-2004

Realm of Fantasy was a business that had a very large inventory of fantasy collectibles that needed a lot of organization. I introduced the use of databases and dynamic pages to them, a fairly new concept at the time, which vastly increased the efficiency of their website. The new site’s structure and design helped their company so much they decided to open a storefront. The storefront did not succeed, however, and as a result they had to shut down the web business as well. Working for this company provided me with much of my basic understanding of website structure and programming.

Additional Info I host my own testing server at home and am familiar with administration and installation of all of the following (and more): PHP, MySQL, IIS, ASP, SQL Express, and ASP.NET. All of my programming knowledge is self-taught. I have had no formal training but I am a quick learner. Currently I require positions that allow me to work from home.

I work quickly and accurately. I get the job done before the deadline every time. I do my own error checking and utilize a variety of web services to test browser compatibility across all major platforms and operating systems.

I like to test the limits of programming and I believe that almost nothing is impossible to accomplish when building a website... if I don't know how to do it, I will learn how and make it happen.
